TIC-TOCK

Time is ticking closer to our departure date. I'm at the boat making improvements, checking the multiple systems, cleaning, organizing, planning and attempting to be a" inventory control specialist". I thought the word inventorian was a word but Google said it was a bag and Wikipedia said it doesn't exist. Nancy has been busy with the "dirt house". Close to 35 years of stuff to sort through.  I don't know who has the harder job. We are leaving a large house that raised four kids transitioning  to a "tiny house" that moves on the water. The good thing about the tiny house is, you can misplace something and find it fast. Things get lost in the big house; especially my basement.  The builder of our boat designed it to make maximum use of available space.  My job it to take advantage this. They say drilling the first hole is the hardest and they are correct.  But many things must be mounted out of the way but instantly accessible.

This clock was a retirement gift from my employer for almost 30 years. The clock face matches the three portal windows on the tug. What a fitting memento.
