Carolina Beach

Being passed on the ICW but a classic wooden boat

I traveled about 50 miles this day. I wanted to get fuel but the place I went to had a much higher price than the listed price online( something like gas buddy but for boats). I left before they opened and fueled at Carolina Beach State Park. I rounded the corner and anchored off the ICW at Carolina Beach.

A short dingy ride led to the free dingy docks. Along the way I met other loopers in the mooring field and Jim and Linda on Interlude, people I last saw on the Okeechobee Waterway late December. This boating community are wonderful people doing the same thing their own way. What a great life.
